How the $99 actually reaches you.
Every rule is spelled out here — the same rules the payout engine follows in code. No surprise deductions, no hidden thresholds, no "pending review" limbo.
Commission is held for 7 days after the buyer's $299 onboarding clears — the same window Stripe uses to surface disputes. After that, your $99 flips from Pending to Payable.
Pick your rail in the partner dashboard. PayPal lands the same business day. ACH lands in 1–3 business days directly to your U.S. bank account. No gift cards, no store credit, no crypto.
A single qualified signup is enough to trigger a payout. We don't hold your money hostage until you've hit some arbitrary $500 or $1,000 balance — that's a trick to keep partners from cashing out and quitting.
If the buyer's onboarding payment is refunded, the referral flips to Reversed and the $99 is deducted from your next payout. If we already sent the money, we absorb it — we never claw funds back from your bank.

A real dashboard, updated in real time
Every referral appears the moment the buyer's Stripe checkout succeeds. You see the buyer's redacted email, the status (Pending, Payable, Paid, Reversed), and the exact date the $99 unlocks. No monthly PDF reports, no support-ticket-to-see-your-earnings.
Payout rules that fit on one card
$99 per paid signup. 7-day chargeback cooldown, then it flips to Payable. PayPal or ACH, your choice, minimum $99. That's the whole contract — no tiered thresholds, no "quality score", no promotional rate that expires.
Once paid, it stays paid
Refunds and chargebacks can only reverse a referral while it's still Pending. The instant a $99 lands in your PayPal or bank, it's yours — we don't reach back into next month's balance to claw it out if a buyer cancels later.
No cookie games, no last-click theft
Attribution is your ref_code in the checkout URL, then your promo code, then a matching Stripe promotion code — in that order, decided server-side. No 90-day tracking pixels, no "last partner wins" overwrites, no shared attribution splits behind your back.
Zero lock-in, zero exclusivity
Promote whatever else you want alongside Postwise — competing tools, your own product, nothing at all. No non-compete, no minimum monthly referrals to stay active, no "inactive account" forfeiture of your unpaid balance. Close your partner account and any Payable balance still gets sent.

What happens if my referral gets refunded?
The commission reverses. Every $99 sits in a 7-day chargeback cooldown before it becomes payable — if the buyer refunds inside that window, the referral flips from Pending to Reversed in your dashboard and no payout is issued. After day 7 the commission is locked in and refunds no longer claw it back.
Do I get credit for existing Postwise customers?
No. Attribution only fires on a brand-new paid signup — the buyer has to reach checkout through your link (or enter your promo code) and complete the $299 onboarding charge. Reactivations, plan upgrades, and accounts that already exist under a different email won't attribute.
How long is the attribution window?
Your referral link drops a first-party cookie that lasts 60 days. Promo codes never expire — as long as the buyer types your code at checkout, you get credit regardless of when they first heard about Postwise. Priority order when both are present: ref_code beats promo_code beats a matching Stripe Promotion Code.
Can I run paid ads to my referral link?
Yes, with two hard rules. You cannot bid on the word "Postwise" or any close variant on Google, Bing, or Meta — that traffic is already ours and those referrals will be voided. You also can't run ads that impersonate Postwise, use our logo as the ad creative, or claim to be an official account. Content, comparison posts, YouTube reviews, and organic social are all fair game.
Is there a sub-affiliate or multi-tier program?
Not right now. Postwise Partners is single-tier — you earn on people you refer directly, not on people they refer. We looked at MLM-style structures and decided against them: a flat $99 per signup with no downline math is easier to trust and easier to pay. If you have a large audience and want a custom arrangement, email us.
When and how do I get paid?
Payouts run on the 1st of every month for all commissions that cleared cooldown in the prior month. You pick PayPal or ACH in your dashboard — no PayPal fee is deducted, we cover it. Minimum payout is $50; anything under rolls into next month. 1099-NEC issued in January if you cross $600 in a calendar year (US partners only).
